The current evolutions in prices and regulations will further increase the benefits linked to the compactness and stability of nested packs :
the price of pallets should increase by 12% in 2014,
strong increases are expected on road haulage in the United States ; increases should also surpass the inflation rate in Europe,
in Europe as well, the latest update of the EN 12195-1 standard on “Load restraining on Road Vehicles" – part 1 : Calculation of retaining forces (january 2011 version) increases the values of lenghtway and crossway accelerations to be considered for the calculation of the required load securing.
The update became mandatory with the ADR 2013 dated 01/01/2013.
